Recycling

At Twickenham Veterinary Surgery we try and recycle as much as we can. We currently have recycling bins in all the rooms for paper and cardboard, and we recycle cans, plastic and glass as well. We try to use any old faxes, or printed paper as scrap paper rather than just throwing it away.

Our surfaces in the consulting rooms and cat kennel room are made from recycled yoghurt pots.

Aluminium

We currently collect all our aluminium packaging (cans, foil packs etc) for the local charity Guardian Angels, who can use these aluminium products to make money for their charity which helps to look after many local waifs and strays. If you would like to help Guardian Angels by collecting these aluminium products, you can separate the aluminium cans from others by using a magnet: any that are not magnetic can be used by Guardian Angels. If you have some aluminium cans that you would like to pass on to Guardian Angels you can either bring them in to the surgery and we will pass them on or you can contact Guardian Angels directly on 0844 745 2122.
